Recycling Tips from Republic Services!

The amount of waste generated during Halloween is downright spooky! Keep it to a minimum with these recycling tips in the image.

Don’t miss out this Saturday, October 19, 2024, 1PM to 5PM at Animal Acres Park, rain or shine! Come help celebrate our community with local LFP legends Lara Lavi and King Youngblood! They will be giving a special performance you won’t want to miss!

Park Opens at 1:00PM with the Beer Garden, Food Trucks, Community Partners, Pop-Up Off Leash Dog Park, Kid Activities, and more!
Opening Remarks will begin at 1:30PM
Lara Lavi Performance starts at 2:00PM
Best in Show Award Winners announced at 3:00PM
King Youngblood Performance will begin at 3:30PM

Paws and Costumes are encouraged but not necessary. Best in Show judges will pick three winners with prizes.

Paws in the Park is free, no tickets needed! Bring seating for the lawn or a blanket for an afternoon picnic, stop by the Town Center to grab food, or purchase from one of the vendors on site, grab a beverage from Vulpine, come hang out with neighbors and friends and enjoy the show!

The Lakefront Improvements Project Third Community Workshop is tonight, October 16 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at City Hall!

In this workshop, the design team will share illustrations of the design concept, developed from the first phase of the project. Community members will be invited to share input that will help shape the park’s identity.

The in-person meeting will take place Wednesday, October 16 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at City Hall. The workshop will be available both in-person and virtually on the project website if you cannot attend this evening, meeting content will be posted to the website at the following link: https://lfplakefrontpark.com/
