From design to finish, these projects came to life in the workshop! 🛠️🎲

Students in Mrs. Arneson’s 6th Grade Technology & Engineering classes spent the quarter building custom game boards from the ground up, learning how to safely use machines and hand tools, measure accurately, sand, and apply a professional finish along the way.

We repurposed our former District Office space at Seymour High School to better serve our Learning Center students. But what does that change mean for the students who use the space every day? We asked them!

Without our referendum, Seymour Community School District would face difficult choices—from delaying critical maintenance and reducing staff to larger class sizes and fewer opportunities for students.

Do you have a creative idea, a handmade product, or something unique you’d love to sell? The Thunder Market is YOUR chance to shine! ⛈️

🎨 K–12 students are invited to showcase and sell their own handcrafted, self-designed, or unique products!

✨ No charge for booths!
🔌 Limited access to electricity, so plan accordingly.

Plus, Seymour Business League’s “Shop the Block” event will be happening the same day from 9 AM–2 PM! It’s a great opportunity to share your creativity with the community and get your entrepreneurial spirit going. 🚀

We had SO much fun at Champions on our October 5th no school day! 🍎🍂
Our students had the best time enjoying a fun-filled fall day together! We made some adorable fall crafts, bobbed for apples, tried different apples during our apple taste test, and made lots of fun memories along the way. 🧡
Just look at how cute our Champions kiddos are enjoying their fall day! 🍁 We love making no school days fun, exciting, and special for our students!
Champions provides care on no school days, winter break, spring break, before & after school, and 4K wraparound care! We still have availability in all of our programs and would love to have your family join us!

What did our 2023 $15 million dollar referendum help accomplish?

💰 The referendum supported both facility improvements and the everyday operations that keep our schools running, including staff salaries and benefits, utilities, transportation, purchased services, supplies, and other essential operating expenses.

From roof and boiler replacements to LED upgrades, safety improvements, playground upkeep, and more, our community’s investment has helped maintain and improve our schools! 🔧💡

Every investment helps support our students, staff, and schools.

🥁 Things were building to a crescendo in music class! Ms. Goeben’s class practiced rhythms and accelerando (gradually getting faster) while bringing “In the Hall of the Mountain King” to life on bucket drums. What a fun way to make music and learn together! 🎶

Seymour Middle School’s 8th graders are hosting a Veterans Day Breakfast, and we invite our veterans and their spouses to join us for a morning of appreciation and fellowship! 🇺🇸
