We are still under a burn ban. We haven’t had much rain yet, and if it doesn’t continue, embers from a fire started today could light a fire tomorrow. Please don’t burn until the burn ban is lifted.

We all need to wait a little longer before burning trash/burn piles or sitting around a camp fire 🚫🔥. But we are excited that the rain is coming and this burn ban should be lifted soon.

We are so thankful for the rain that’s fallen here and there over the weekend. But, we are still under a BURN BAN. We will update when the burn ban is lifted. Until then, refrain from any type of outside fires.

Thank you also to Ima and Jeff Bryant for donating! We are feeling very blessed by all these donations!

Still under a burn ban.

Latham-Dog Creek, Bokoshe Volunteer Fire Dept , Panama, and Shady Point putting out a grass fire today. Still very dry out.

The little amount of rain we got this morning was not enough to lift the burn ban. We are still under a burn ban. Do NOT lite fires outside.
