From Docents to Decision-Makers!

A very special thank you to the 48 Reagan Library volunteer docents who joined us for a special event in the Situation Room Experience!

Our docents stepped into history and became active participants in George Washington’s Cabinet simulation, working together to debate issues, weigh different perspectives and make the kinds of critical decisions students and professionals face during an SRE simulation.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our docents to experience firsthand how the Situation Room Experience brings history to life while encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, communication and leadership.

Most importantly, thank you to our incredible volunteer docents for everything you do to educate, inspire and welcome visitors to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. We loved having you in the Situation Room—and watching you take on the challenge yourselves!

We’re excited to welcome our first adult Leadership Challenge group of the new year to the Situation Room Experience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library!

Leadership Conejo, a thriving program of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, brings together local professionals to deepen their understanding of our community and strengthen their leadership skills.

During their visit, participants will step into the Situation Room Experience to put collaboration, communication, critical thinking and decision-making into action—all while exploring how strong leadership and community partnerships can help build and support tourism throughout the Conejo Valley.

We’re proud to welcome these local leaders and be part of their journey as they discover new ways to make an impact in our community.

Today, the Situation Room Experience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum joins communities around the world in celebrating the educators who inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and help prepare the next generation of leaders.

Teachers do so much more than share knowledge. They challenge students to ask questions, consider different perspectives, work together to solve problems, and find their voices. These are the same skills students put into action when they participate in the Situation Room Experience.

Thank you for stepping into the Situation Room, challenging your teams to think differently, and embracing a truly unique leadership experience built around collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making.

Your participation makes an impact far beyond your own experience. 10 YEARS IN THE ROOM!

This year, the Situation Room Experience celebrates an incredible milestone—10 years of leadership, learning, collaboration, and decision-making.

Since launching in 2016, the Situation Room Experience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum has invited students, educators, professionals, and community leaders to step into history—and into the roles of decision-makers facing challenging, real-world scenarios.

Over the past decade, thousands of participants have entered the room ready to take on a challenge and walked away with a greater appreciation for communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership.

And we’re just getting started!

Throughout our 10th anniversary celebration, we’ll be looking back at memorable moments, sharing stories from the people and organizations who have joined us, and celebrating the educators, students, professionals, staff, and supporters who have helped make the Situation Room Experience what it is today.
