🔥🐻2026 1st Season Bear Chase Week came to a end today 🐻🔥
Wow -what a week was had in the Hills of Eastern Ky following the best hounds in these parts and for sure the finest folks to spend a week with !!!
Monday was a Crush IT 🍊 kind of start to kick things off - at the end of day one the tally was 3 . The gang and this pack of hounds did not let up all week . They showed up and showed out day in day out . Thankful for all the blessings this week and the memories made with all our friends and family that joined us . Most importantly thanks to the good Lord for all his guidance this week and watching over us to keep us and these amazing Hounds safe .
As most you know Bears are plentiful in these mountains and it showed this week . It’s a blast 💥and a pleasure to enjoy Gods creations here on earth especially behind a pack of meat dogs that are well trained year round !!! These Houndmen and handlers are good at what they do that’s for sure . Many hours and a lot of grind to make a week like we just had be possible .
Here’s a few pics from this week and a recap - 2026 first 5 day chase season tally - 13 treed bears and 11 harvest . 2 bears got the pass to see another day . Congratulations to all the shooters that joined us this week . Tony Dempsey was top dawg this week harvesting a 410 pound Flat Woods TOAD !!! Several nice bears harvested as seen in pics below . Our Ky bear population is thriving and it shows …
Oct 29th starts the last 9 day chase season here in Ky . The dogs will get some much needed rest and be ready to roll !!!
