๐Ÿšจ Birch Creek Area VFD โ€“ Emergency Response ๐Ÿšจ

Last night, Birch Creek First Responders responded to a medical emergency at Freedom Ranch. After their initial response, they worked alongside fellow firefighters to establish a safe landing zone for Air Med 12.

One patient was transported by air to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan for further medical care.

๐Ÿ™ Please join us in keeping the patient and their family in your prayers. We wish them strength, comfort, and a full recovery.

โค๏ธ๐Ÿš’ We are proud of our volunteers and grateful for the teamwork that helps serve our community when every minute matters.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ WE WILL NEVER FORGET โ€” SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, we pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including 343 FDNY firefighters who answered the call and never returned home.

As volunteer firefighters, the words โ€œNever Forgetโ€ carry a special meaning. We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, dispatchers, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We honor those who ran toward the danger when others were running away.
We remember the families who never got to say goodbye.
We remember those who survived and those who continue to live with the effects of that day.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and service remain an example to every firefighter who puts on the uniform.

Today, we stand together in remembrance.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Never Forget. Never Forgotten. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Sunday night around 8:00 p.m. we responded to a grass fire just off Big Berry. It was very close to a house, but fortunately the homeowner was aware, on top of it and had it under control when we arrived. We soaked the area to make sure it didnโ€™t reignite. -Carrie Ferguson
