Community members are invited to join Mayor Jake Wilson, the City Council, and School Committee during the 2026 ‘Neighborhood Connect’ meeting series. Formerly known as City Hall Community Meetings, Neighborhood Connect will take place in each of Somerville’s seven wards.

Neighborhood Connect will debut a new meeting format, moving from formal presentations to a science-fair format with City staff setting up at tables. Meetings will kick off with quick citywide updates and a brief welcome from the Mayor and Ward Councilor before breaking to allow attendees to move about for one-on-one and small group conversations.

Somerville High School invites students and families to the annual on Thursday, October 8 at 6:30pm. High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to meet reps from over 50 colleges and universities at the SHS cafeteria. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend this event focused on students who are starting their post-graduation planning.
