❤️✨ FUN FACT FRIDAY! ✨❤️
My Last One Before Election Day!

Did you know I'm a caregiver for people living with dementia? ❤️

And here's the funny part… give me the ones everybody else has a hard time with! 🤣
Seriously! The more challenging the behaviors, the more I seem to connect with them! I've cared for people who were angry, stubborn, and downright difficult, but give me a little patience, compassion, and time, and somehow we end up BEST FRIENDS! 😂❤️
I've always had a way of connecting with people, even those who didn't like me at first! I think it's because I look past the behavior and see the PERSON.

One thing about me… I don't give up on people easily! ❤️

I've learned that you can't always change someone's circumstances, but a little compassion can change how they see the world, and maybe even how they see YOU! 🥰
So there you have it! You've met the boy mom, the Army brat, Stella the Clown, and now the caregiver!

There's a whole lot more to me than politics! 😂❤️

Our Northwest Indiana Last Resort Christmas Program serves Lake, Porter, and Laporte County Indiana guardians who experience barriers to participating in other traditional Pantrys and Christmas programs .

This is for those who are homebound due to medical, lack of transportation, funding or have work schedule barriers or are an Indiana ALICE working family.

What is a ALICE family?

This term describes working households that earn barely more than the official federal poverty level, yet still do not make enough money to afford basic daily necessities like housing, food, child care, utilities and health care not receiving state assistance little alone afford a holiday. This is verified by the last three paychecks compared the amount of kids in a home ratio.

These families can not reliably get to traditional programs to pick up food or gift donation distributions.
