What an amazing turnout tonight to officially welcome Dr. Karlos Marshall as the new Director of the Clark County Public Library.
It was best categorized as more of a “welcome home” since Dr. Marshall is a graduate of Springfield High. A graduate of Wittenberg. And a graduate of the University of Dayton where he received his Doctorate in Education.
Bishop Ronald Todd spoke on behalf of Governor DeWine and Commissioner Chris Wallace represented the city of Springfield.
The library announced this as an historic time since Dr. Marshall “will be the first Black library director in the Clark County Public Library’s history.”
Welcome home Dr. Marshall!
