It’s no secret that we love urban parks- supporting Gateway Arch National Park and its surrounding areas is central to who we are at Gateway Arch Park Foundation.
As proud park people, we want to let you in on a secret- one of the most peaceful spots in Downtown St. Louis is nestled in the Park’s North Gateway.
The Explorers’ Garden is truly a hidden gem, and if you take a second to pause in its center, you’ll start to notice the sights + sounds behind what makes it so special:
🌼 The breeze gently brushing through lush native plants and flowers
🐜 The creatures who call it “home”
🏙️ The inner workings of our city, just a short stroll away
This space is a key example of why urban parks are so important- they allow our community members to gather and become immersed in nature, just steps away from their homes, workplaces, and city centers.
