This week, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of the men and women in law enforcement who gave their lives in the line of duty to protect and serve others.
In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and designated the week in which it falls as National Police Week โ a time to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of our communities.
The Olivette Police Department proudly honors the fallen officers whose bravery and service will never be forgotten. We also extend our deepest thoughts and gratitude to the families, friends, and fellow officers who continue to carry their memory forward each day.
Their sacrifice will always be remembered. ๐
