Welcome Neighbor STL is a community group supporting immigrants and refugees as they begin new lives in St. Louis. They have helped Mawda and Mohi, refugees from Syria, start their catering business - Damascus Food.
Now Mawda and Mohi can prep and deliver meals to newly arrived refugees from the Afghanistan with the help of Oasis International Ministries and our LAST Community Carry Out St. Louis grant.
Going out with a BANG!

4 MORE - We are very grateful to our most recent anonymous corporate donor whose gift will enable us to fund another 4 grant recipients. St. Louis Metro area restaurants interested in our program should reach out to St. Louis Community Foundation to request an application.
50% of our Covid Emergency Relief Grants are intended for day to day operational expenses of our grant recipients; the other 50% is used to prep and deliver meals to the food insecure through one of our non-profit partners.
We are winding our program down as restaurants/caterers have started to re-open and get back to their regular business. Glad to go out with a bang and have this opportunity to fund a few more businesses...and help feed a few more of our neighbors in need. Thanks to all who have supported this effort.
