I want to start off by saying THANK YOU for allowing me the opportunity to serve our community for the last 4 years. To say it was easy would be an understatement. Who knew I would also have to fulfill many duties of the city administrator, during a majority of the term, as well. Balancing that, a full time career, being the best wife, mother, Grammy and friend I could be, was not for the weary. Do I wish I could do it all again, absolutely! Yesterday’s election results say “not in the immediate future” and that is okay.
I hope my successor, and those that follow, remember the job is not solely about the happenings at meetings or the business side of a city, it is also networking with other city leaders, going to the classrooms and talking to the minds of the future, sand bagging along folks whose homes are in danger, helping at community events, expecting interruptions while enjoying a meal at local establishments, a 10 minute trip to the local grocery store turns into an hour. It is about being present, being involved and being there for everyone.
To city staff, you all are the ones who truly keep the city afloat day in and day out. I hope the value each of you brings does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your time and devotion.
While my time as mayor is coming to an end, that doesn’t mean my involvement and commitment to our community is too. I have called Pacific home longer than I have called anywhere else and have great pride in the things that have been accomplished.
Thank you for allowing me to be your voice. I hope my successor is our voice.

I am excited to announce that I am running for re-election as Mayor of Pacific.
Over the past four years, our community has worked together to keep Pacific moving forward.
Working with the various Boards of Aldermen, I have focused on supporting the dedicated employees who keep our city running everyday. I have encouraged economic development and business growth, which helps fill commercial spaces and attract new investment to our town.
I am proud of the progress we have made together, but there is more work to do. I am running for re-election to continue improving our infrastructure, supporting responsible growth, and ensuring Pacific remains a safe, welcoming community for generations to come and a place families will continue to call home.
It is an honor to serve as your mayor, and I humbly ask for your support.

Welcome and congratulations!
We would like to extend a warm welcome and congratulations to our newest officer, Justin Turley, for joining the team! Officer Turley serves as the K9 handler for our other new employee, Viktor.
We're thrilled that Officer Turley was able to bring his partner with him, which is a valuable addition to our department. Viktor and Officer Turley have been together for three years, and both reside in Pacific. They are excited to be part of the community and are dedicated to serving the people of Pacific.
Congratulations, Officer Turley, on achieving this honor just months after being hired! 🤩

Please be prepared and if predictions hold firm, limit travel to only what is a necessity. Try not to park on streets, if possible, leaving plenty of room for the snow plows to come through. We are planning to pre-treat Friday and will have crews working in shifts so they will be out day & night.
Stay safe, stay warm and stay home as much as possible.
WINTER STORM WARNING - NWS STL forecasts 8-12 (or more) inches snow between Friday midnight and Sunday 6PM with colder temps and winds. See details at https://tinyurl.com/4r429e5r.
Early preparations can make a huge difference. Avoiding travel if possible will ensure your safety and aid in road maintenance. Please help clear out fire hydrants at least 3 feet around.
