Dr. Schneider tapped into her elementary teaching roots at Ross Elementary, co-teaching a math lesson in Yoon Ciche’s fourth-grade classroom.

Together, students used mental math strategies like spotting patterns, skip-counting, and annexing zeros to solve more efficiently without picking up a pencil.

There’s nothing better than seeing students engaged in their learning and celebrating each other’s successes!

Drawing on learning and hands-on experience from Central High business and Spark! Incubator classes, 2025 alumnus Andrew Rubin built a strong foundation to launch his own company, State Street Spices.

What started locally at Parkway craft fairs has grown quickly. Today, while balancing his studies at Mizzou, Andrew has scaled his high school project into a brand available in nearly 300 retail locations locally and nationwide, including World Market stores. 📈

Between competing in national entrepreneurship events and expanding his product line, Andrew is well on his way to taking State Street Spices full-time after graduation.

No excuse, in-person absentee voting opens tomorrow, October 20.

Voters will decide on Proposition P, the district’s proposed 46-cent operating tax levy. For the owner of a $400,000 home, the estimated increase would be approximately $7 a week.

Parkway has not asked for an operating tax increase in 20 years, and our tax rate remains among the lowest operating tax rates of all St. Louis County school districts.

It's not just a choir class for Kimberly Roback's students; it's a life class.

North High vocal music teacher Kimberly Roback has raised the bar for her students beyond the singing, encouraging them to discover hidden strengths, build confidence, and exceed their own expectations.

One student shared, "She's made me a lot more confident and realize my true potential, so I can push myself to be even better than I thought I could ever be."

What kind of proposal is Proposition P?

Proposition P is an operating tax levy, not a bond issue for construction.

If approved, it would provide ongoing funding for the day-to-day operation of Parkway schools, including teachers and staff, student programs and services, school safety, classroom resources, and long-term financial stability.

Be an informed voter. Learn more at www.parkwayschools.net/Prop-P.

"His kids come off the bus happy, ready to lead, and excited to share the good things happening on their ride." 💛

Mr. Drew treats his routes as an extension of Shenandoah Valley Elementary , constantly highlighting students who embody SVE's core values. But this past Friday, the tables turned: a student paid the kindness forward and delivered Mr. Drew his own positive referral!

We love how Mr. Drew’s influence has created a wave of positivity among his bus riders! 🚌

For West High senior Haley Puglisi, language is about much more than spoken words. 🤟

Inspired by her mom, Haley began learning American Sign Language (ASL) as a freshman. What started as a class quickly turned into unexpected friendships, a deeper connection to Deaf culture, and a new awareness of everyday accessibility barriers.

🎥 Watch as Haley shares how learning ASL brought a deeper sense of connection and belonging to her high school journey.

PROP P: Did you know? Approximately nine of every 10 dollars Parkway receives comes from local property taxes.

The cost of educating students continues to climb, and funding limitations are affecting the district’s ability to pay for teachers and staff, student support, transportation, utilities, and other day-to-day school operations.

Prop P on the November ballot would provide stable funding for Parkway teachers, classrooms, safety, and student support.
