The STLCW hopes to build a world where it is easier to be good, a world where each has according to their needs and gives according to their abilities.

We were hanging out and talking love for our neighbor with a group of middle schoolers at Rosati-Kain this morning. The girls then baked cookies and packed hygiene bags for us to distribute with our regular burritos!

During the St. Louis summers we spend extra money on water, ice, and freezer pops as part of our regular burrito distributions.
You can help us continue this life saving work by donating on Venmo, via check made out to “STL Catholic Worker Community,” or by dropping off/shipping freezer pops and electrolyte packets directly to our house at 8617 Mora Ln. STL, MO 63147.

theo the catholic worker ‘s greatest joy is finding stuff on clearance!

We cook salsa, chicken broth, and tomatoes directly into our rice to flavor it before rolling it into our famous burritos along with beans, meat, grilled veggies, and cheese.

This haul might last us a couple of months but we’re making more food than ever so we’ll see. Unfortunately there are more and more folks living on the streets of St. Louis. With the world the way it is, it’s hard to imagine that things won’t get worse before they get better…

How do you like our Catholic Worker signage? We’re a little less formal than all the official nonprofits we table near at events.

Join us and the Ozark Foothills CW Farm folks May 17 starting at 1PM for Craft Day at our friend Kelly’s house. Theo will bring the soup and you can bring your knitting, whittling, coloring book, sewing, or whatever project you’re working on. Not much of a crafter? Come learn a new skill with us or just hang out! We’ll be hanging around for a few hours so folks can drop in as it fits their schedule. Text Theo at 314-320-5129 to RSVP and get Kelly’s south city address.

What better way to celebrate the Catholic Worker Movement’s 93rd birthday than by marching with a couple thousand of our friends through the streets of our city for May Day?
