Overnight fire. Occupied two story frame dwelling with heavy showing upon arrival, with a report of a person trapped.

The Fire Alarm Dispatcher received the 911 call from the trapped occupant; stayed on the line providing lifesaving instructions, and shared critical information with the first arriving company on the exact location of the trapped occupant.

Equipped with accurate information, entered the building ahead of a charged hand line, successfully effecting the of the entrapped occupant.

Medic 23 transported two adults urgently; both in stable condition.

Amazing video shared with us from the earlier First Alarm Fire in the 4800blk of Allemania. The initial size-up detailed a two story frame dwelling with heavy smoke and #fire showing. This video articulates just how intense the pressurized smoke conditions were. Searches were negative. An aggressive interior fire attack knocked down, and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported. Preliminary investigation points to a space heater too close to combustible materials. Engine 19 was first due. Battalion 4 was in Command. Video Credit: Michelle Jenkerson
