Today we had the privilege of training Kevin Ball Auto Body and Sales with CPR skills and equipping their shop with a lifesaving ZOLL AED3 . They recognized that a cardiac issue can happen at anytime and that in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, the first 3 minutes is essential to get an AED and deliver a shock to reset an abnormal heart rhythm. Thank you for the opportunity to train your staff and equip your shop.

Like we've said many times, sudden cardiac arrests do not discriminate. They don't care about locations, dates, or times. The life you save might be a stranger, friends, or family member. Become empowered to save that life. Call 314-596-2497 to schedule a training for your workplace, church, or an in home CPR Party.

🚨 Is Your AED Still Supported? 🚨
Now is the time to evaluate the AED sitting on your wall.
Manufacturers have begun announcing end-of-support timelines for several commonly used units — and this has serious implications for businesses, schools, churches, and public facilities.
Here’s what we know:
⚠️ LIFEPAK CR Plus
⚠️ LIFEPAK EXPRESS
Stryker has announced that as of February 2026, they will no longer be able to support these devices with replacement batteries and pads due to manufacturing limitations.
If you cannot purchase pads or batteries, the device cannot be maintained — and it should be replaced immediately to ensure it remains lifesaving-ready.
Additionally:
⚠️ Cardiac Science G3 AED
ZOLL has stated they will attempt to continue producing batteries and pads through March 2028. However, they have also cautioned that supply chain challenges could impact this timeline and potentially cause earlier discontinuation.
Here’s the hard truth:
An AED without supported pads and batteries is not a safety device.
It’s a liability.
If your AED is:
• Over 8–10 years old
• A discontinued model
• Dependent on limited supply chains
• Or nearing battery/pad expiration
It is time to review your preparedness plan.
At Emergency and Safety Trainers, LLC, we help organizations:
✅ Evaluate current AED models
✅ Confirm manufacturer support timelines
✅ Develop replacement strategies
✅ Upgrade to current, fully supported devices
✅ Train staff to respond confidently
Don’t wait until you can’t get the supplies you need.
If you’re unsure about your current AED status, message us a photo of your unit — we’ll help you assess it.
Lifesaving equipment only saves lives if it’s supported and ready.

Quick question…
👉 Do you know exactly where the AED is in your workplace right now?
👉 Would your coworkers know?
👉 Is there even one available?
In emergency after emergency, we see the same problem:
• Employees don’t know where the AED is located
• The AED is locked in an office
• It’s in a cabinet nobody has ever opened
• Or there isn’t one at all
Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a time-sensitive emergency. Brain damage can begin in just 4–6 minutes. EMS response times often exceed that.
An AED cannot save a life if:
No one knows where it is
No one is trained to use it
Or it simply doesn’t exist in the building
AEDs are designed for everyday people. They talk you through every step. They are safe. They are effective. And they dramatically increase survival when used quickly.
But access and awareness are everything.
Take 30 seconds today and ask:
“Where is our AED?”
If you don’t know the answer — that’s the problem.
Emergency and Safety Trainers, LLC helps workplaces:
✅ Assess AED placement
✅ Provide CPR/AED training that builds real confidence
✅ Supply and maintain AEDs so they’re ready when needed
Preparation is not overreacting.
It’s protecting the people around you.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.
It doesn’t just happen in hospitals.
It happens at ballgames. At church. At work. At school. At home.
Here are some hard truths:
🫀 Only about 1 in 10 people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
👐 Less than half of victims receive CPR from someone nearby before EMS arrives.
⚡ An AED is used by a bystander in only a small percentage of cases — even in public places.
Every minute without CPR decreases survival by 7–10%.
That means when someone collapses, the person standing next to them — a parent, coworker, coach, friend, or even a stranger — is their best chance of survival.
The problem?
Many families don’t know CPR.
Many businesses don’t have an AED.
Many communities aren’t prepared.
The good news? CPR is simple. AEDs are designed for everyday people. And YOU can be the difference between life and death.
At Emergency and Safety Trainers, LLC, we train regular people to respond with confidence — not fear. We also help families, businesses, churches, and community groups place AEDs where they’re needed most.
You don’t rise to the occasion in an emergency.
You fall back on your training.
If you’ve been thinking about learning CPR — or making sure your workplace, school, or organization has an AED — now is the time.
Call us today at 314-596-2497 for information on our on-site trainings, CPR Parties, or AED sales
Because someday, someone’s life may depend on you.

❤️ February is American Heart Month… and it’s also the month of Valentine’s Day. ❤️
So while we’re all thinking about flowers, chocolates, and date nights… let’s also think about something even more meaningful:
Protecting the hearts we love the most.
Picture this…
It’s a normal evening in February. Dinner’s done, the kids are winding down, and you’re sitting on the couch with the people you love most. Then, out of nowhere, someone you care about grabs their chest… their eyes go wide… and they collapse.
For a split second, everything freezes.
Your heart is racing. Your hands are shaking.
And the only thing you can think is…
“Please don’t let this be happening.”
You call 911—but help is on the way.
And now you’re staring at the most terrifying reality of all:
The next few minutes are on you.
Sudden cardiac arrest doesn’t care if it’s a holiday, a weekend, or a normal Tuesday night at home. It can happen to a spouse, a parent, a friend, a coworker… even someone young and healthy. And in those moments, the greatest gift you can give isn’t something you buy… it’s knowing what to do.
That’s why we offer CPR Parties — a fun, relaxed, and comfortable way to learn CPR with the people you care about most. No classroom pressure, no awkwardness… just real-life training that could truly save a life.
💕 This Valentine’s Day, don’t just say “I love you.”
Show it… by learning how to help if the unthinkable happens.
✅ Perfect for couples, families, friend groups, church groups, or coworkers
✅ We come to you and bring everything needed
✅ Easy to schedule and stress-free
✅ You’ll leave with confidence and peace of mind
📅 We have plenty of evening availability all month long, and February is the perfect time to book your CPR Party.
💬 Message or call us today at 314-596-2497 to reserve your date — because the best way to celebrate the people you love… is to be prepared to save them. ❤️

🚨 Business Owners: OSHA’s General Duty Clause & Violent Encounters — What You Need to Know 🚨
Workplace violence is no longer a “rare event.” Incidents involving threats, assaults, active attackers, and violent intruders are occurring in offices, healthcare facilities, schools, places of worship, manufacturing sites, and retail businesses across the country.
Under OSHA’s General Duty Clause, employers have a legal responsibility to address these risks.
⚖️ What is OSHA’s General Duty Clause?
The OSHA General Duty Clause (Section 5(a)(1)) requires employers to:
“Furnish to each employee a place of employment which is free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm.”
Workplace violence is a recognized hazard. OSHA has repeatedly cited employers when:
Known risks existed
No prevention or response training was provided
Employees were left unprepared during violent incidents
Failing to address this risk can result in:
OSHA citations and fines
Civil liability
Workers’ compensation claims
Business interruption and reputational damage
🚧 What Does OSHA Expect From Employers?
While OSHA does not mandate a single “active shooter law,” they do expect reasonable protective measures, including:
Hazard assessments related to violence
Written prevention or response plans
Employee training on how to recognize, avoid, and respond to violent threats
Ongoing mitigation efforts
Training is one of the strongest and most defensible steps an employer can take.
🎯 How AVIRT Training Supports Compliance
Our AVIRT (Active Violence Intervention & Response Training) is designed specifically for business environments and aligns with OSHA’s expectations under the General Duty Clause.
AVIRT helps your organization:
Identify pre-incident indicators and warning behaviors
Understand avoidance, de-escalation, and escape strategies
Learn decision-making under stress
Apply Run, Hide, Fight concepts in a realistic, practical manner
Improve employee confidence and survivability
Demonstrate a good-faith effort toward OSHA compliance
This training is proactive, documented, and defensible — exactly what OSHA looks for after an incident.
✅ Why This Matters for Business Owners
If a violent incident occurs and no training was provided, the question becomes:
“Did the employer take reasonable steps to protect their employees?”
AVIRT training helps you confidently answer YES.
If you’d like to learn how AVIRT training can protect your employees, strengthen your safety program, and reduce liability exposure, feel free to comment, call us at 314-596-2497, or message us directly.
Prepared employees save lives — and protect businesses.
