Leadership from across the entirety of the 8th district came together yesterday to coordinate, collaborate, and choose our 8th Congressional Executive Cmte for the next 2 years 🥳

I am honored to serve again as Chair of the 8th 🥰

And we elected Wayne Petitt (Cape Girardeau) as Vice Chair, Jojo Stewart (Howell) as Treasurer, and Clayton Harbison (Iron) as Secretary 💙

Thank you to everyone who came and made this a fantastic gathering of Democratic leadership and heart!

For everyone looking to get more involved, the Exec Cmte will coordinate online meetings beginning in January of next year. Please focus all the effort and attention you can on the current election and supporting your local candidates and issue campaigns 💪

This is what integrity looks like.

I need to share some thoughts.
Even after many months of campaigning, lots of late nights, several early mornings, the election did not go in my direction. That’s the way elections happen.
I met so many kind people who opened their minds, their homes, their wallets, and their time. I don’t regret any part of that.
Chris Reichard won the primary fair and square. He and I have spoken a few times since the election and I have offered my assistance where ever he sees best fits his campaign. I encourage those who supported my campaign to view what Chris Reichard has to offer. In my mind change from status quo, accessibility, listening to our communities are all attributes that he can provide.
Let’s show the 8th Congressional District what has been missing now for 13 years. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Vote Reichard.

In these past months, we have had the honor of hosting both of the current Democratic candidates for Missouri's 8th Congressional District at our monthly meetings. Today, it is your turn to decide which of these qualified, capable men you want representing you and your children for the next two years. Choose a Democratic ballot and use your voice and your vote to put Missouri back in the hands of its people.
