Phyllis Friday: Remembering the introduction of Richard Henry Lee's "Resolution for Independence" on June 7, 1776. We must celebrate the Declaration of Independence!

We are thrilled to be at the FPEA (the 2026 Florida Homeschool Convention) in Orlando. We are being represented by our wonderful friend and Eagle Theresa Barbale and her daughter. They have spoken to more than 300 women as of this morning!

This Phyllis Friday, we remember that Phyllis Schlafly was early in the fight against the Communist Chinese Party. As we reflect on President Trump's trip, let's remember Fred and Phyllis Schlafly's legacy of anti-communism.

DAILY COMMENTARY: Conversion Therapy Wins Big in SCOTUS.

So-called “conversion therapy” won big at the Supreme Court & it’s a major victory for free speech and Christian counselors. But, the battle isn’t over. Expect licensing boards in liberal states to continue haranguing counselors like Kaley Chiles.

As we reflect on National Volunteer Month in April, not only must we celebrate Phyllis Schlafly’s legacy of volunteer activism, but the charge she left us all: that there are moral obligations to our American citizenship and we must fulfill them. 💕Phyllis and Fred Schlafly were married in 1949. They raised six children and enjoyed forty-four years together, making her an expert in female happiness and fulfillment as she fought the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment. Phyllis wrote extensively about husbands and wives in the Power of the Positive Woman. She unapologetically explained why a traditional marriage benefits both spouses and leads to long and happy unions.

Molly McCann Sanders: “When I was in law school, I took a class in which I wrote several papers on feminism. I spent a lot of time listening to every video of Phyllis I could find online. In one video, Phyllis was asked how she got so good at public debate. I was struck that she immediately paid tribute to her husband Fred, who, she said, tutored her in public speaking and helped her practice. I was struck by what a beautiful tribute it was to their partnership in marriage. I have thought about that comment often in my own marriage. My husband Brian is a trial attorney and skilled oral advocate who reads many of my article drafts and is always ready to “moot me” in preparation for an oral presentation. Spousal support is such a blessing, and Phyllis gave wonderful witness to the institution of marriage.”
