St. Charles Community College will host its second annual Men of Color Success Summit on Friday, March 4th, 2022. This program is designed to supply high school male seniors of color with the necessary tools and empowerment to overcome any obstacles, achieve their post-high school goals, and optimize their future selves. Stan Pearson II, a nationally recognized speaker, will facilitate the summit with a dynamic message on power planning, connection, and personal achievement.
The Men of Color: Student Success Program at St. Charles Community College promotes student success by providing ongoing support for first-time entering college students who identify as men of color transitioning from high school to college. Throughout academic coaching, personal development, the Men of Color students will be prepared to serve as future leaders for their community during their time at St. Charles Community College.
If you are a High School Senior Male of Color or know of a High School Senior Male of Color, please share this information with them. This program would be a GREAT opportunity to start their college journey. Oh, by the way, did I mention that they will be eligible to receive a $1000 scholarship? 😊

The last 2 weeks of our meetings, we've learning about the importance of having a routine. Benefits of having daily routine:
Better stress levels, better sleep, better health, higher self-esteem, control your own destiny, etc.....

Side Note: In this picture, our boys were watching a documentary called “The Miracle Morning Movie” by Hal Elrod. Also, we were eating pizza.
