Youth In Action Kirkwood recently held a trivia night to support Kirk Care! Not only is this amazing for Kirk Care but it is amazing for Kirkwood. All of these donations help to support families and individuals in the Kirkwood School District attendance area. The need is greater than ever. Our annual drive-thru recycling and donation drop-off event is back—making it easy to clear out what you don’t need and know it’s going to the right place.

Recycling opportunities:
TechRemove – electronics, metal, tech items, and appliances*
Paint Busters Recycling – latex paint*
Secure Document Destruction of St. Louis - paper shredding**

New Beginnings – home goods, décor, and furniture
Animal Protective Association of Missouri (APA) – pet items, blankets, and towels
Helping Hand-Me-Downs – gently-used children’s items
Kirk Care – non-perishable food and personal hygiene items

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our wonderful pantry director, Joanne. As a dedicated volunteer, she worked tirelessly to keep the pantry running smoothly, always making sure our clients had the food they needed.

Joanne brought kindness and love to everyone she met. She treated each person with dignity and compassion, and her presence made our pantry a place of warmth and care.

She will be deeply missed by our clients, volunteers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
