All of our therapists are bilingual (or trilingual!) and they serve participants from diverse ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds.

Betty is the embodiment of JOY and SERVICE. Betty (Left) joined the LifeWise StL community as a participant in our Senior Resiliency Fund nearly 4 years ago.

She now serves as a Senior Companion volunteer and provides a helping hand to older adults who want to continue living independently. Whether she’s taking them to a doctor’s appointment, running a small errand, or simply spending time together, her presence brings reassurance to people who might otherwise feel alone.

Betty was presented with the 2026 Show Me Service Award and named the Senior AmeriCorps member of the year. We are so proud of her! 💕

LifeWise StL celebrated graduating students Anissa, Terriah, Tyesha, Asmaa, and Ruth this weekend with a special lunch and reception. Students heard from past alumni, received their Academy diplomas, and were gifted baskets of goodies and a brand new laptop each for their future studies!

To our students: As you step into the next chapter, remember that this is only the beginning. Chase your dreams boldly, lead with kindness, and never stop believing in yourself.

AfroStem came to teach our Young Scholars about plant biology and helped to unlock some gardening skills 🌱

Students planted their own seeds, which they grew in the classrooms under grow lights and then replanted in LifeWise StL's raised garden beds.
