Supporters of a Fenton Dog Park is a group that includes former members of the committee for Bark Park at Unger. Regretfully, the Bark Park at Unger Committee is no longer pursuing a dog park at St. Louis County Unger Park. The committee has concluded that to be successful in the long term a dog park must be part of a municipality or county government. Therefore the committee has decided to turn t

⭐The Golden Girls Need a Miracle! ⭐
Edit: A generous donor has offered to cover the adoption fee for anyone who adopts!
These four gorgeous seniors are looking for a home TOGETHER! We know it would take a miracle, but nothing is impossible. We need your help to make it happen.
Meet Goldie, Gracie, Gabbie, and Zoe. Zoe, who is nearly 16 years old, is the mother of the other three, who are all approaching 15. They've been together their entire lives- literally since they were in the womb. They've been through a lot in recent months: losing the only home and family they've ever known and having to move to a shelter, where everything is different. But they still have each other and we're not about to change that.
All four are housebroken, well-mannered, and excellent on leash. They're all pretty healthy and in good shape for their ages- a group of little old ladies power-walking around the mall, but in dog form. They're gentle, friendly, and loving, although they can come off as a little aloof when they first meet a stranger. Gabbie and Zoe warm up quickly with treats. Goldie and Gracie just need a little time. Like I said: they've been through a lot. Gracie is the biggest of the four at about 45 lb... and she's the one who, when she gets used to you, wants to be a lap dog! They get along well with other dogs and cats.
All four would be available through our Seniors-4-Seniors program so if someone over 60 were to take the quartet, their adoption fees would be $1 each and their vet care, food, and medication would be available at no cost through the shelter for the rest of their lives. A win for you, a win for us, and a BIG win for the gorgeous Golden Girls! If someone under 60 were to adopt, the adoption fee would be reduced to $300 for all 4 and their food would be available at cost through the shelter.
Look, we know that basically nobody in the world, when they think of the kind of dog they want to adopt, jumps to "how about four geriatric dogs all at once?" But we have faith that their perfect home is out there! They so deserve to live the remainder of their lives together, loved, and in a HOME. So it may be that their family is one in a million... but that just means we have to spread the word and reach them!
So share to your socials. Tell your family and friends. Ask them to share. They are, from right to left:
Goldie, 14. Gabbie, 14. Zoe, 15. and Gracie, 14. All spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. All available together through

Are you more a chocolate person or a vanilla person? Well with us, you can have both! I'm Bear (chocolate) and this is my twin brother and best chum, Harley (vanilla). We're seven years old, we come as a set, we're purebred labradors, and we're very good boys.
Are we great with everyone we've met? Very much so. We haven't met cats yet, but it can be arranged. Have we definitely sacrificed a few brain cells in favor of friendliness cells? Of course! Don't worry- we had some to spare. I mean, not a lot. But some. There's a reason labs are the most popular dog breed in the US and the UK. If you're not sure what it is, just meet us and you'll have no doubt.
So if you've got room in your heart and home for two big boys, come check us out! Maybe you've got a black lab at home and are hoping to complete your set. Or maybe one chocolate and one vanilla is enough.
Either way, just remember: we're Bear and Harley, seven years old, bonded (we will not consider splitting up), neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. We're available for adoption through

Go big or go home? Why not both?! My name is Louie and I don't do anything halfway. Whatever it is, I'm in 100%.
It's the cattle dog in me, I think. Anyone who has had a cattle dog mix will know what I mean. I've got energy on energy on energy and could run for days. I love to play and go for walks/hikes/runs/bike rides/marathons/mountain excursions/adventures of every kind.
What I need is a way to channel all this greatness! All this intelligence, drive, and energy, not to mention incredible handsomeness, is a powerful tool and makes me potentially a really, really, super, amazingly cool dog. But my life so far? Well, I lived outside. And then I came here. And nowhere in there is "trained for and completed a frisbee dog championship" or "swam the English Channel alongside my best friend" or "woke up at dawn to go for runs with my human." or even "learned how to do a bunch of awesome tricks." And that's what I need. I'm not the kind of dog who will nap on the couch 'til you feel like playing with me. I've got lightning running through my veins.
I know that means I'm not for everyone. I'm not for every dog, either. Oh, don't get me wrong- I love other dogs. But I'm not excellent with boundaries and some dogs get offended by how full-on I can be. If I were to have a dog sibling, I'd like one who can play just as hard as I can! As for a human, it would have to be someone who is engaged and who is willing to make me a big part of their lives and routines. I need exercise and mental stimulation and that takes some dedication on the part of the human. But I promise, it will be worth it when you have the cleverest, coolest dog on the block!
So if you think I might be your ideal running buddy, come check me out! My name is Louie, I'm about two years old, and I'm neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. I'm available for adoption through

My oh Mya! What a good puppy! What a sweet puppy! What a beautiful puppy!
I'm Mya the Magnificent and in exactly three weeks and three days, it will be my very first birthday! Here's what I'm hoping to get for my birthday: a cake made of cookies. A whole lot of toys. And maybe, if I'm ever so lucky, a home of my very own!
Here's what I want in my dreamiest dream home:
1. A lot to do! I'm a very smart dog and I love to explore and play. I'll need some guidance as far as what's appropriate to play with and what isn't because, as far as I'm concerned, everything's a toy!
2. Exercise! I play hard with anything and everything- people, other dogs, sticks, the wind... all of it! I would love to be someone's exercise buddy and/or have a lot of chances to play in dog parks or at daycare.
3. Tons of love! I love EVERYONE (especially you
