Safety looks good on everyone! Even our pups 🐾

Life jackets aren’t just for people, they’re for our four-legged crewmates too! Whether it’s adults, children or pets, having the right number of life jackets for every single passenger on board is a must.

⚓ Children under 12 on a 65ft boat or less are required to wear a life jacket while underway.
⚓ Everyone should have a properly fitting jacket ready to go.
⚓ And yes, even dogs should be geared up for safety!

Training in Action ⚓️

Crews from Station New York conducted routine two-boat towing evolutions this week. Regular training ensures our teams are always mission-ready to respond when it matters most! Whether assisting a disabled vessel or supporting search and rescue operations.

🚨 On the Watch for Jet Ski Invasion 2025! 🚨

Today, U.S. Coast Guard Station New York crews were out in full force, ensuring the safety of 600–800 jet skiers during the annual Jet Ski Invasion! 🛥️💨

Jet skiers launched from all across New York City and New Jersey, riding through the harbor to catch unforgettable views of NYC’s most iconic landmarks — all under the vigilant eyes of U.S. Coast Guard, FDNY, NJ State Police, and NYPD.

Big thanks to our port partners for helping keep the waterways safe. Working together, we kept the mission smooth, safe, and Semper Paratus! 💪🇺🇸
