You can imagine my surprise when I saw this headline! I encourage everyone to read this fantastic opinion piece about how reforming planning can help improve our city. Most of you know that strengthening Statesville's core neighborhoods, rural/farmland preservation, and building local wealth (good jobs, attainable housing, and entrepreneurship) are major concerns of mine, and it is encouraging that there is broad appeal for that work in Statesville!
Viewpoint: Statesville Council should promote investments in cityโs core rather than encouraging sprawl
