From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who participated in, donated to, shared social media posts, and supported the Stillwater Public Safety Angel Tree. This project was successful because of this incredible community. Because of you, we received gifts for every single department!

This community showed up in a big way to remind our law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS professionals, dispatchers, jail staff, emergency management teams, K-9 units, and other public safety professionals that they are seen, valued, and appreciated this holiday season. Hundreds of human beings — who show up every single day to make Stillwater and the surrounding areas safer, stronger, and better — felt that love. Stillwater is thriving for many reasons, and one of those reasons is the dedication, intelligence, and commitment of these public safety professionals who serve our city every day.

Thank you to those at Simmons Bank for helping organize this project, serving as a drop-off location, and being steadfast supporters of public safety in Stillwater. Simmons Bank consistently shows up for our community because they truly care about Stillwater and its people thriving, and we are deeply grateful to have partnered with them on this project.

Thank you to the amazing humans at Stilly’s Nutrition Fix for their partnership in this project also and serving as a drop-off location. They are passionate supporters of public safety and their advocacy, partnership, and enthusiasm for this project meant so much. If you get the chance, stop by and support them with some delicious drinks, shakes, and food. We are incredibly thankful for everything they did to help make this project successful.

Thank you to Lucas Grounds State Farm and their entire team for jumping in from day one to support this project. To know them is to know their unwavering support for public safety. We are very honored they partnered with us to show love and appreciation to our public safety professionals.

As we wrap up this year, we also want to recognize something incredibly important: we are fortunate to have had no public safety professional deaths this year or in recent years past. That alone is worth celebrating and never taking for granted. We hope our community continues to recognize just how meaningful that is.

We wish everyone a fun and, most importantly, SAFE New Year. Stillwater, we are so lucky to call this place home. Thank you for making this project so special 🤍
