❤️ Celebrating a New Community Heart Hub in Sturgis ❤️

Yesterday, we joined community partners to celebrate the opening of Monument Health’s newest Community Heart Hub at the Sturgis Public Library.

In collaboration with the American Heart Association-South Dakota, we’re helping bring accessible heart health resources to our community. This free resource makes it easy to check your blood pressure, learn what your numbers mean and take a step toward better heart health.

Come and meet Nugget, the Rapid City Rush mascot tomorrow, October 15th and sign up for Nugget's Reading Challenge. You read books and earn a ticket to the Rush Hockey game!

This is open to all ages.

The reading challenge runs from October 15th to January 31st.

Who's excited to meet Nugget, the Rapid City Rush mascot?

Stop by and shoot a goal while you sign up for Nugget's Book Club.

We are so excited to team up with Nugget and the Rapid City Rush team. Read books and earn a free ticket to a Rush game!!

Nugget will be at the library on October 15th from 3:30-4:30 pm for our kickoff party. If you can't make it, come in anytime to sign up for the reading challenge.

The reading challenge is open to all ages and runs October 15th through January 31st, 2027.

We will be closed on October 12th for Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Tuesday: Baby/Toddler Storytime at 10 am
South Dakota Book Discussion is at 7 pm

Wednesday: Pre-K Storytime at 11 am
Curious Cook 3:30-4:30 pm. Ages 11+

Thursday: Nugget's Reading Challenge Kickoff Event featuring Rapid City Rush hockey team's mascot Nugget from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Take your turn at the net. 🏒 Earn a free ticket to a Rush Hockey Game when you read books.
Puzzle Sale & Swap from 4-6 pm

Friday: History at High Noon will feature Walter Stein from Dinosaurs of the Hell Creek Museum

Saturday: WanderWild Trail + Art 10 am with Creative Explorations Nonprofit . Make sure to register.
Magical Apothecary Craft at 1 pm for teens and adults. Make your own decorative potions. Make sure to register.
