🚨 BREAKING: THE FEDS ARE INVESTIGATING CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS.
The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly launching a major criminal voter-fraud investigation surge, with California among nine states targeted for increased federal investigative activity.
And California was already attracting federal scrutiny.
Federal prosecutors recently charged a Honduran lawful permanent resident in California with fraudulently registering to vote despite not being a U.S. citizen. Prosecutors say they found no evidence that he actually cast a ballot—an important distinction—but the alleged registration itself is now a federal criminal case.
This comes amid broader scrutiny of California’s voter rolls and election procedures.
And here in Nevada County, we’ve already seen why aggressive enforcement of election law matters: the FPPC found violations involving $34,614 in taxpayer-funded Measure V mailers, resulting in seven Political Reform Act violations and a $31,500 penalty.
That isn’t speculation.
That isn’t a conspiracy theory.
That’s an enforcement record.
The answer isn’t to assume every allegation proves fraud.
The answer is evidence.
🔎 INVESTIGATE.
📋 AUDIT.
⚖️ ENFORCE THE LAW.
🇺🇸 PROTECT EVERY LAWFUL VOTE.
If California’s elections are secure, rigorous scrutiny should demonstrate it.
If laws have been broken, prosecute those responsible.
California has demanded that voters trust the system. Now federal investigators are going to test it.
