A Big Thank You to Trek Bicycle Issaquah!
Pierce County 4x4 Search & Rescue would like to extend a huge thank you to Issaquah Trek Bicycle for helping facilitate the purchase of several new Trek service bikes for our unit!
Earlier this week, a few of our members made the trip to Trek to pick up the bikes. The team at Issaquah Trek provided valuable recommendations on the bike builds and had our bikes assembled shortly after the purchase was made. We truly appreciate their support, expertise, and dedication to helping us get these bikes ready for service!
These new Trek service bikes will give our team another valuable tool in the field when searching for missing people. They will allow our volunteers to move quickly through neighborhoods, access narrow paths and areas where ATVs and SXSs cannot fit, and reach subjects more efficiently while other resources searching on foot.
Beyond search and rescue missions, these bikes will also be a tremendous asset during our public service events, including the many marathons and community events we support throughout the year.
Every new tool helps us improve our capabilities, serve our community, and ultimately bring missing people home safely.
