We are proud to announce that the department has once again been awarded reaccreditation, marking 12 years as an Excelsior Agency and accredited now for 25 years!🏆

A special thank-you to our accreditation team: Whitney Gibson, Lt. Susan Burton, and Captain Tony Drzewiecki. Your countless hours of hard work behind the scenes, attention to detail, and commitment to the process helped ensure a smooth and successful accreditation assessment. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

FSUPD joined the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities and the Tallahassee Police Department to support TPD’s “Approach with Care” initiative. Officers and FSU CARD Center staff came together to assemble sensory bags that will help promote safer, calmer, and more positive interactions with individuals on the autism spectrum. 💛

Investigator Ulna Beaubrum and Officer Deandre Fox represented The Florida State University Police Department yesterday in The 10th Annual Patrol Stroll 🎀 in Tallahassee, Florida!

Hosted by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, yesterday’s event brought our community together to raise awareness, honor survivors, and support those impacted by breast cancer.🎀

Every donation made difference in the fight against breast cancer!

💜 There’s No Excuse for Abuse.

This morning, FSUPD joined our Local Law Enforcement Partners, FSU’s Institute for Trauma and Resilience Studies, the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, and Refuge House at Cascades Park for Forces United Against Domestic Violence.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, participating agencies unveiled vehicles displaying domestic violence awareness messages helping connect survivors with support and reminding our community that help is available.

We appreciate everyone who came together to raise awareness, support survivors, and stand united against domestic violence.

🏈 Another great Saturday in Doak — and another Seminole WIN! 🍢

The Seminoles put on a show with a 38–7 victory over Virginia, and while the action on the field was impressive, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible team working behind the scenes to help make game day safe and successful.

FSUPD is proud to provide law enforcement services for FSU Football games, but we certainly don’t do it alone. Each season, law enforcement officers and public safety professionals from agencies throughout our area join us at Doak Campbell Stadium to help protect the thousands of fans, students, athletes, staff, and visitors who come together for game day.

To our FSUPD officers and every assisting agency — THANK YOU! Your professionalism, teamwork, long hours, and commitment do not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for the partnerships that help make every home game possible.

🏈 GAME DAY AT DOAK! 🏈

FSUPD was in full force for the first home game of the year, working alongside our partners to provide a safe and secure game-day experience for Seminole fans, visitors, and everyone attending the game.

From traffic operations to stadium security, our officers worked throughout the day to help keep everyone safe while ensuring fans could enjoy the excitement of Florida State football. ❤️💛

A special moment before kickoff as Chief Trumbower had the honor of delivering the game ball and helping officially kick off another season of Seminole football!

A huge thank you to all of our FSUPD officers and assisting agencies who worked behind the scenes and on the front lines to make game day a success. Your dedication and teamwork do not go unnoticed!
