Continued Student Learning Outcome Goals:
- Students will develop an understanding of how environmental integrity, economic vitality, and social equity are interrelated.
- Students will be able to explain how sustainability relates to their lives as citizens, workers, and individuals and how their actions impact sustainability within their communities.
- Students will develop an understanding of change processes and be able to think critically about the origin, and solution to, obstacles to change.
- Students will gain a greater understanding of their own personal identities and how their identities shape their leadership styles.
- Students will engage with organizations within the larger community as a means of exploring the responsibilities that accompany leadership.
- Students will develop an understanding of individual and institutional decision making processes and how those processes impact "life within the college and community."
- Students will learn how to apply the general concepts of sustainability locally, regionally and nationally by engaging in educational activities (e.g., conferences, presentations, publications) within a broader context.
- Students will develop the ability to critically evaluate proposed solutions to problems within a context of their environmental, social and economic impacts.
