For those impacted by Hurricane Idalia, the IRS has issued relief by extending the filing deadline to 2/15/24 for those who filed an extension for 2022

IRS: Those impacted by Idalia qualify for tax relief; Oct. 16 deadline, other dates postponed to Feb. 15 | Internal Revenue Service IR-2023-159, Aug. 30, 2023 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced tax relief for individuals and businesses affected by Idalia in parts of Florida. These taxpayers now have until Feb. 15, 2024, to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments.

Just a reminder that if you have an LLC or an S Corporation that tax returns or extensions are due today!

IRS pushes April 15 U.S. tax deadline to May 15 The IRS is planning to push back the deadline for the tax filing season about one month, to May 15 from April 15.

Just a friendly reminder that if you filed an extension for your 2019 taxes, that those returns need to be filed by midnight tonight if filing electronically or be postmarked by today if mailing your paper return.

The IRS has announced that there will not be an extension on tax returns for 2019. Returns are still due on 7/15 to be considered on time.

We will have some time to get things done so let me know if you still need to file!

Individual taxpayers unable to meet the July 15 due date can request an automatic extension of time to file until Oct. 15.

Just a heads up that tomorrow is the deadline to renew your corporation or LLC with the State of Florida. Paperwork filed after midnight tomorrow will be subject to a $400 fine.
