IR-2023-159, Aug. 30, 2023 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced tax relief for individuals and businesses affected by Idalia in parts of Florida. These taxpayers now have until Feb. 15, 2024, to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments.

President Joe Biden announced he will forgive $10,000 in federal student debt for most borrowers, delivering financial relief to millions of Americans.

The IRS has announced that there will not be an extension on tax returns for 2019. Returns are still due on 7/15 to be considered on time.
We will have some time to get things done so let me know if you still need to file!
IRS Won't Extend Deadline Again; Tax Returns Due by July 15
The Department of the Treasury and IRS have announced the tax filing and payment deadline of July 15 will not be postponed. Individual taxpayers unable to meet the July 15 due date can request an automatic extension of time to file until Oct. 15.

Just a heads up that tomorrow is the deadline to renew your corporation or LLC with the State of Florida. Paperwork filed after midnight tomorrow will be subject to a $400 fine.
