BASE SERVICES HOURS AND CLOSURES FOR 31 AUG
Please note the only gate that will be open is Dale Mabry.
We are working hard to open more services as safely and quickly as possible. We will release Friday's Service's tomorrow.

The Installation commander has rescinded the evacuation order from their safe haven for MacDill AFB starting no earlier than 1200 on Thursday, 31 August and must arrive no later than 2359 on Friday, 1 September.

Members living in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Pasco, Sarasota and Hernando counties are authorized to return to their homes at this time.

Mission essential personnel only will be authorized to enter the base starting tomorrow morning.
Only Dale Mabry Gate will be open tomorrow morning for mission essential.
Please contact your supervisors and chain of command for further instructions.

Tinker Elementary will remain CLOSED on Thursday, 31 August.

FamCamp will remain CLOSED Thursday, 31 August. We will announce more information on its reopening tomorrow.

Housing and Dorm residents; Lodging & TLF guests are welcome to return no earlier than noon tomorrow.

We are currently working on an updated list of base services hours.

We are still assessing base lodging and will update when it will open as soon as we can.

The Hurricane Recovery Team is still assessing parts of the base therefore only mission essential personnel will be authorized entry before 1200 Thursday.

Again, THANK YOU for the understanding through the week! We promise we are trying to get everything back to normal as fast as we can!

HURCON 5
The 6 Air Refueling Wing Commander has directed MacDill AFB into HURCON 5. HURCON 5 Indicates surface winds in excess of 58 mph (50 knots) could arrive within 96 hours.
Base leaders will convene early tomorrow morning to receive a weather forecast and direct operations accordingly.
Undoubtedly, the first question that always arise is evacuation. At this time, there is NO order to evacuate. Please keep checking back here for the most up to date information.

Harbor Bay will be handing out sandbags starting today at 1300 at the maintenance office, 2120 Second Ave to Base Residents ONLY!
