We had a fun Happy Hour send-off for Heather & Aaron Superdock. Nice job as usual by Savita in planning this event. Were gonna miss Heather & her tremendous input into our club the last few years but we wish them well in their new home & adventures in Texas. It's not good-bye but Good Luck & we'll miss you guys! ❤

Hillsborough County Toastmasters meeting will be canceled today, January 9, 2019. We will be having a luncheon to celebrate one of our Toasty buddies, TM Bruce as he sails into retirement after 30 years with the EPC. Congrats Dewitt, we hope you enjoy every second of this wonderful time of your life!

Hillsborough County Toastmasters is making headlines! Congrats on doing a great job. You all rock!
Congratulations to the Hillsborough Toastmasters, who were recently featured in the district 48 newsletter.
EPC is home to this thriving Toastmasters Club that meets weekly during lunch. The Club, once held in the County Center, transitioned tour Sabal Park location in 2012. Since then, the membership has more than doubled and the club continues to foster the goals of developing communication and leadership skills in a supportive learning environment.
The club has been recognized several times over the years and has earned the highest distinction that can be awarded to a Toastmaster Club “Presidents Distinguished Award” the last two years running. Most recently the club was recognized in the District newsletter for their work and enthusiasm.

We hosted our Annual Humorous Speech Contest on October 3, 2018 and it was a success! We had a packed house, full bellies and tons of laughter. TM Gile took First Place with "How Not to Get Angry Ever." Our runner up was TM Superdock with her whacky tales with an uninvited rodent. Can't wait to see what next year has in store for us!
Our Hillsborough County Toastmaster's Meeting will be canceled on October 31, 2018. We will resume as normal the next week. Thank you and have a safe and Happy Halloween! 🎃

Ladies and gentlemen prepare to be blown away...with laughter. It is that time of year where we showcase the many talents of our wonderful members with a Humorous Speech Contest. It will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 12-1 pm. Come one come all! There will be food, fun and lots of laughs!!!! Come out and support your Hillsborough County Toastmasters.

Last week we wished one of our members, TM Mac, a fond farewell as she departs for NY. She will be starting her new adventures as she immerses herself in the world of Journalism. We threw her a little surprise going away celebration to wish her Good Luck. Good times were had by all as the Speeches and Table Topics were centered around TM Mac and New York. It was a great meeting with yummy food and wonderful fellowship!

Our club ended the year off with a bang! We like to have a little fun so in honor of all this hot weather we went for a Beachy Theme. There was great food, music, hula lays and many awards for our very deserving members. Everyone worked so hard and achieved the President's Distinguished Club Award for the 4th year in a row. Great Job Hillsborough County Toastmasters!!!

Our club has been fortunate to get lots of visitors this past Toastmaster year and gain some new members as well. We just gained another new member, which is a great way to end our 2017-2018 TM year. Welcome TM 'Mac' Saleh! She's off to a running start, already have completed two speeches. She's really determined to improve her public speaking skills this year and she's got our support!
