🎓 It’s graduation season—and we’re celebrating some of our youngest learners!

We were proud to recognize 44 VPK graduates at Children’s Choice Academy, celebrating this exciting milestone with each student. From picking out a free book to creating colorful keepsakes, it was a day full of joy, creativity, and accomplishment.

Each graduate also received a backpack filled with educational tools to support continued learning at home—because at United Way Suncoast, we believe learning doesn’t stop when school ends.

As we head into summer, we remain committed to helping children stay engaged, build skills, and thrive through every stage of their educational journey.

Disaster Resilience - United Way Suncoast 05/26/2026

Many organizations think disaster planning starts with protecting a building. It doesn't. It starts with critical factors including your people. Sometimes the biggest risk isn't the story itself, it's not knowing what comes next.

At our business continuity workshops, you will learn all the critical aspects of disaster planning and why you need to protect so much more than your physical structure.

United Way Suncoast's Advocacy In Action served up anecdotes, encouragement and inspiration Thursday evening at the Tampa Club. Hosted by our Women United affinity group, the event made clear that more people -- and especially women -- should step into the public policy arena with passion and purpose. Kudos to former Tampa Bay Times Columnist Sue Carlton, Pinellas County School Board Chair Laura Hine, Palmetto City Councilwoman Sunshine Joiner and Tampa City Councilwoman Naya Young for lifting us up. United Is The Way.

United Way Suncoast’s Admiral Society bills its impactful work as Philanthropy In Action. That mantra was in full effect Tuesday as Admiral members partnered with United Way Suncoast team members at Muma BizTown.

They guided fifth graders from James Elementary and Lake Magdalene Elementary through the mini city as they learned about business ecosystems, civic leadership, financial literacy and nonprofit giving. Today’s students may very well be the leaders who embrace the Philanthropy philosophy In Action tomorrow.
