General information
Launched in 2011, our Girl Scout Outreach Program best known as Rising Diamonds serves over 5,000 girls annually in school and after school centers. It is our mission to empower girls with the ability to be confident in making positive decisions about their health, education, and future. We serve girls in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Polk Counties.
Rising Diamonds provides a Girl Scout experience for girls in Kindergarten to twelfth grade during the school day in a 9-month program designed to promote life skills, social skills and a healthy self-image girls. This program promotes healthy behaviors, positive relationships, and financial literacy, and provides additional STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) opportunities for girls in underprivileged areas. Additionally, girls involved in this program have an opportunity to participate in Girl Scout camp and outdoor experiences.
