Acts of HOPE

To our Acts of HOPE volunteers. Thanks for your servant's hearts. We are honored to work alongside many families. Even though this event would be as spectacular as any other year, we are taking a year of respite. Please don't let this year off for us deter you from going out and serving others. We know it is a tradition that is near and dear to our hearts as well as many of our fellow volunteers. We look forward to what future years will bring. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of the people who have donated to help this event. They truly appreciate it. Also a HUGE thank you to all who helped with the packing party to sort and get the donations packed and ready to go.

A HUGE Thank you to all who have donated to Acts of Hope for the Thanksgiving Homeless Outreach. We are taking donations through this evening at 20071 E. Escalante Rd Queen Creek 85142. If you would like to join us for the packing party this evening to help sort and load up donations fell free to stop by. We will be starting at 4:30. 20071 E. Escalante Rd. QC. Thank you!!!

SO encouraged by our community. Thank youi for all who are joining us in blessing our homeless communities and those who are struggling to make ends meet. We are still looking for donations, so keep them coming. Whatever we don't hand out we leave at the Salvation Army as they have over 200 people they have showing up daily for needs to be met. Let us know if you have any questions. And again, thank you for showing that there are amazingly generous folks still willing to give sacraficially!! Blessings to all.

Service Project for Thanksgiving
We serve around 400 men, women, and some children at Tempe Salvation Army on Thanksgiving day. We have little to NO donations at this time and are looking for our community to help!

We are in need of:
-Hotel sized shampoo/conditioner/lotion
-bottled water
-black socks
-new underwear men (boxers) and women
-Women's hygiene products
-cough drops
-Men’s/Women’sShavers & Shave Cream
-belts
-Combs
-Toothpaste, Toothbrushes & Mouthwash
-Chewing Gum
-Dog Food
-Men’s & Women’s Deodorant
- Nail Clippers, Lip Balm, Kleenex, Wipes, Sanitizer, Q-Tips
- Hats, Gloves, Scarves (can make a ton out of fleece) -black or dark blue prefered
-Shoes: Men’s, Women’s,Kid’s
-Men’s Clothing: Shirts, Pants, Outerwear
-Women’s Clothing: Shirts, Pants/Bottoms, Outerwear
-Kids Clothing- All in one box (very minimal)
-Blankets, sleeping bags, towels, wash cloths
-Tarps, umbrellas, ponchos
-Gallon and Sandwich Ziplocs for pre-packing
-Cases of Water

It is that time of year!! A year of serving others! Looking for volunteers and items to hand out to the homeless. ALSO, been very blessed with many items needed such as shampoo, lotion, conditioner---all hotel size. Will need a place to store them as well as volunteers that are wanting to help sort and bag them for the outreach event. Looking for clothing items. Time to clean out those closets!
