Teens (ages 12 - 18) are invited to our first Summer Teen Video Game Day! 🎮
On Thursday, June 4 at 2 p.m., attendees can bring their own Nintendo Switch games (must be rated E through T only; no exceptions) to share with others or try out our copies of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8.

Thank you Friends of Moore Memorial Public Library for sponsoring a fabulously fun Summer Reading Kick-off! It was a roar-some event filled with dinosaurs, activities, and plenty of smiles.
We'd also like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers, resource vendors, and City Departments that helped make this year a huge success. A special thanks to City of Texas City Recreation and Tourism for helping us set-up and tear down. Shoutouts to Texas City Police Department , Texas City Fire Department, Galveston County Health District, College of the Mainland, Family Service Center - The Center for Mental Health & Wellbeing, DePelchin Children's Center, Craving For A Change Foundation Inc., and Texas Roadhouse for coming out and sharing their resources with the community.

Children ages 5 to 8 are invited to make their own dinosaur eye!
On Tuesday, June 2 at 2 p.m., children will create a magnetic dinosaur eye using clear flat stones and paint to take home and display on the fridge as fun decor. This prehistoric-inspired craft is perfect for young dinosaur fans!

Join us for weekly Summer Storytimes at the library!
Toddler Storytime takes place Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for children ages 1–3 and includes stories, music and movement, bubbles, and playful social time.
Preschool Storytime takes place Wednesdays at 10 a.m. for children ages 3–5 and features stories, music and movement, plus a fun craft or activity each week.

Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to create their own dinosaur mason jar!
On Monday, June 1 at 2 p.m., kids will personalize their own jars into nightlights or decorative terrariums with miniature dinosaurs and natural elements like rocks, sand, lights, and more. Great as an eye-catching ornament for any room!

Tweens ages 9–12 are invited to get creative at the library! 🎨📓
Join us on Wednesday, June 3 at 2 p.m. to design and decorate your own personal notebook using paint, texture, collage materials, and more. Whether you love bold colors, layered designs, or simple styles, you’ll create something completely unique to you.
Perfect for creative minds and crafty hands. Space is limited and all supplies will be provided! We hope to see you there! ✨
