As you head out to celebrate today and tomorrow, be sure to check the US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas page for any updates. The forecast is looking mostly sunny, but there’s a small chance of a few pop-up showers or storms in the afternoon, but nothing that should spoil the fun!

Today & July 4th: Highs near 90°, but it’ll feel more like 103–104° with the heat index. Stay cool, drink plenty of water, and take breaks in the shade when you can.

The rest of the weekend brings similar temps with a mix of sun, clouds, and slight chances of afternoon storms.
