Jane's Walk Bike / Scooter Ride

Attached is information about the Hutchinson River Greenway team's upcoming events.

A 2-hour bike/scooter ride on the Hutchinson River Greenway to discuss plants, animals, and conditions along the route. Meet up at the North East corner of the Bay Plaza Parking lot, at the entrance to the Greenway.
Free helmets and scooter rentals available, reserve by calling/texting 646-404-1491. Must be 18yrs old
Please consider joining us on the Bike or Scooter ride.
Free Helmet giv-a-way to the public by LIME scooter and free scooter rentals for the ride.

Join TABx-Uptown, Santa Claus and his North Pole Cruzers for our fun 2023 Annual Holiday Lights ride through the Bronx. Get festive with bike lights and seasonal outfits as we deliver some toys while stopping at festive light displays.
Ride ends at the Parkchester Oval Christmas Display.
12-15 miles, 2 plus hours, street ride.

Ride a-long with Transportation Alternatives Bronx Activist Committee as We lead a feeder ride to Transportation Alternatives 50th Bock Party on NYC's best run, most popular and community Open Street on 34th Ave. , Queens
A few highlights of the day
All Day from noon-4 p.m. - family-friendly activities, fun giveaways, free snacks and refreshments (while supplies last)
Noon-3:30 p.m. - Bike and e-bike tune-up stations
Noon-1 p.m. - 70s throwback hour and dance party! Learn to Hustle with TA!
Noon-2 p.m. - T-shirt and tote bag silkscreening (please bring your own!)
1-3 p.m. - Bike lessons, bike demos, and Spatial Equity NYC demos
1 and 1:30 p.m. - Yoga for the commuter sessions
2 p.m. - Meet and greet your local elected representatives
3 p.m. - Composting workshop and giveaway
Did we mention this is a 70s themed party? Please come wearing your most 70s-inspired threads and be ready to hustle.
We are excited to have a truly groovy time together as we celebrate 50 years of advocacy and organizing – together as a community and coalition – for safe streets and sustainable, equitable transportation for all New Yorkers.

Take a short ride up the Grand Concourse on our 9th Annual Ride to the 29th Annual Bronx Parks Speak Up.
It is a great little ride with stops in Joyce Kilmer Park and along the Phases of the Concourse bike lane construction.

9:15 Meet Up: Lou Gehrig Plaza
