The first rule of Art Club is… make something new! Each month, Art Club Kits feature work by different artists and a coordinating, age-appropriate project to try at home. Kits are available for Preschoolers, Children and Teens/Adults. June's kits feature beading. Registration is required for this kit and begins Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m. Register online at bit.ly/TCPLTXEvents. Kits will be available for pickup Tuesday, June 2 through Sunday, June 7.

A friendly reminder: TCPL is closed Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. The Library will open again on Tuesday, May 26 at 10 a.m.

Snag a deal at Friends of The Colony Public Library's Spring Book Sale next weekend! Find books, DVDs and CDs for all ages. The sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 30. Preview Night is Friday, May 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission for the Preview Night is $5; free for FOTCPL members, teachers and City staff. Admission is free for all on Saturday.

Join us next Friday (May 29) to build with blocks, bricks and more to develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. This early learning program takes place from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. in the Library Multipurpose Room.

Join us for an introduction to the Maxwell DISC Method, a behavioral tool that helps adults discover their communication style and improve interactions with others. Socializing and refreshments will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation takes place from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Library Multipurpose Room.
