Today I want to recognize the reason I can enjoy all of these adventures, why I own camera equipment beyond the scope of my talent and skill and why I have even a wisp of confidence to post my photography (not to mention my bad poetry). He listens, he pays attention, and then he plans and organizes. Make no mistake, I have almost nothing to do with any of our adventures (other than stare out the window and say things like "oh look! A hawk!" and "What pretty flowers!" and "Oh, pull over here, I want to see where that trail goes!"}. He does it all and he does it while NOT being an outdoors-type person. He does it because he loves me and he has always been the type of man that gains the most enjoyment from making the people he loves happy. So...
Happy birthday. I love you every day, every hour, every second. And I am so grateful for you.
