The public is invited to learn about the future interchange project on U.S. Route 61 in Lincoln County, located at the Routes B and E intersection near Auburn. Join us for an exclusive an informational meeting on Wednesday, June 17, from 4-6 p.m. in the Community Room at the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, located at 1112 E. Cherry St. in Troy.
The meeting is open-house style, with no formal presentation. Attendees can join in anytime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. A public comment period will be available beginning on June 17, 2026 through June 30, 2026.

UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURE:
Linns Mill Rd will be closed on Thursday June 4th between 7AM and 5PM for utility construction. Residents living between Hwy 47 and Fieth Rd will have to access Linns Mill Rd from the Fieth Rd end. There will be a total closure of Linns Mill Rd at Hwy 47 during construction.
Please plan accordingly and use alternative routes.

N. Lindsey Rd and Birkhead Rd are closed at the Low Water Crossings. With expected rain through the day and into tomorrow, expect these and other crossings to have significant water running over them at times.
Remember "Turn around don't drown". Never drive into running water, there is no way to know if the road or culverts under the water have been damaged or eroded.
Updates will be posted as needed on road conditions.

Dust control application to area roads will begin as early as Monday May 4th. Graders and tanker trucks will be on select roadways during application of dust control materials. Please slow down when workers and equipment are present.
Monday crews will be on Hill Creek Rd and Aubuchon Rd. For more information visit our website at https://www.lincolncomo.gov/highway-department or contact the Highway Department office Monday through Thursday 6am to 4:30pm.

The Lincoln County, MO Highway Department is responsible for maintaining and improving over 480 miles of roads, bridges, signs, and culverts. We provide snow removal, ice control, and oversee road projects throughout the county, excluding the Elsberry Special Road District.

UPCOMING ROAD CONSTRUCTION:
Asphalt paving operations will begin on Monday May 4th on Bethel Rd in Hawk Point followed by paving operations on Prairie Rd in Hawk Point. This work is expected to take 3-4 weeks to complete.
Expect short delays during construction and one lane restrictions on area roadways. Flaggers will be onsite to provide direction through the work zones at all times. Please slow down in work zones for the safety of our workers.

ALL ROADS ARE OPENED AT THIS TIME
ROAD CLOSURES:
The following roads are closed at the low water crossings:
Linns Mill, Giles, Bethel, Birkhead, N. Lindsey, N. Rock Church, and Hardy Rd.
Also Patton Rd is closed at Point Rd due to road damages from flooding.
Remember to turn around don't drown. Don't move or drive around barricades.
Please plan accordingly and use alternative routes.
