It is the 1st national deflection week and here in Tucson we have had a deflection program since 2018! Handing out naloxone is one of the many things we do in the attempt to save lives while people are on their journey. TFD Paramedic Womack teaching how to, while local outreach workers practice applying a tourniquet. Attendees also learning wound packing and chest seals. Preparation and safety is key while offering help to the community.
