Vote alert!!!

A very reliable friend of mine just finished the pollworker training, and she texted this to me .....

"Just finished Poll Manager training! I passed all the classes. I want you all to know something...when you are checking in at the polls and they happen to write anything on your ballot before they give it to you to put in the voting machine...a letter, a checkmark, a letter star, an R or a D any writing of any kind...please request a new ballot. Your ballot will be disqualified if it is written on.

Please be on the look out. Make sure poll workers do not write on your ballot. It will cause your ballot to be disqualified."

Please forward this to everyone you know🙏🏾. Make sure poll workers do not write on your ballot. It will cause your ballot to be disqualified.😕

PassOn!

Listen to this a few times so the message is a part of your psyche. I'll have more about this topic this weekend.

So that everyone knows, I'm not going anywhere. I want the City Counselor candidates to have all the oxygen in the air. Then its back to work!

🗳️ Oklahoma, your vote matters — especially in low-turnout elections!

The Primary Runoff Election is Tuesday, August 25. The voter registration deadline is July 31, so make sure you’re registered and ready to make your voice heard.

Voters will choose candidates in runoff races and decide two statewide questions:

📌 SQ 844 — changes in reimbursement for local governments impacted by some manufacturing property tax exemptions.

📌 SQ 846 — adds voter identification requirements to the Oklahoma Constitution.

Don’t let a small turnout decide big issues. Check your registration, learn what’s on your ballot, and vote on August 25!

As you all know, the Election Board moved from north Denver to east Tulsa. This removed a powerful tool from our community. We need a couple of early voting sites in North Tulsa. This is a movement to do just that. But we need your help.

Regina Goodwin has started a petition to raise awareness on this need. My goal is 10,000 + signatures today, sign this petition and post this message to your page.
