Today I attended the No Kings rally here in Union City. It was a peaceful gathering where residents came together to express their views and engage in civic participation. Regardless of where we each stand, the ability for people to come together, speak out, and be heard is a fundamental part of our community.

Thank you to everyone who participated respectfully and helped ensure the event remained safe.

Excited to attend the opening of the new Ross store in Union City. It’s always great to see businesses investing in our community and creating more shopping options for residents.

Welcome to Union City, Ross!

Had a great time at today’s UCPOA Ornament Making event. Grateful for the hard-working men and women who serve our community every day—and a big thank-you to the families and neighbors who came out to make it such a special gathering. 🎄💙

Remembering September 11

Today, we pause to honor and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We carry with us the memory of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who showed immense bravery in the face of tragedy. This day serves as a reminder of our nation’s resilience, unity, and strength in times of unimaginable loss.

Here in Union City, the Flight 93 Memorial at Sugar Mill Landing Park, is a memorial to honor the heroic passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93, which was headed to San Francisco International Airport when it was hijacked. Their courage and sacrifice saved countless lives and will never be forgotten.

We invite our community to reflect on this day of remembrance and to visit the memorial as a place of honor and reflection.
