As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we are grateful to everyone who joined us for the Breaking the Silence: Behavioral Health Summit.
This community conversation brought together residents, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and advocates to discuss mental health, healing, recovery, and hope. Through honest dialogue and shared experiences, participants explored ways to reduce stigma and strengthen support for individuals and families throughout Clayton County.
Thank you to Odyssey Family Counseling Center for making this event possible. We also extend our appreciation to our speakers, including Dr. Patrice Harris, MD, our panelists, vendors, and everyone who contributed their time, expertise, and personal experiences.
Mental health is an important part of overall health. Clayton County Health District remains committed to connecting our community with information, resources, and partnerships that support health and well-being for all.

Love your liver. ❤️
During Hepatitis Awareness Month, take time to learn your risks and protect your health. Hepatitis B and C often have no symptoms, which means many people may not know they are living with the disease. Early detection can help prevent serious complications and protect your future.
Talk with your healthcare provider about whether hepatitis testing or vaccination may be right for you.
Clayton County Health District supports our community through hepatitis education, disease monitoring and prevention efforts. We also offer hepatitis vaccinations through our immunization services.
