We would like to extend a heartfelt, thank you to author Hope Kelley, a proud Jim Hogg County ISD alumna, for her generous donation of one of her beautifully written children’s books to our elementary students .
It means so much to our school community when former students give back in such a meaningful way.
Our students are excited to read a book written by someone who once walked the same halls as they do, and we are grateful for Hope’s support of literacy and education.

Congratulations to these HHS and HJH Readers for the 4th Six Weeks!

What an amazing experience for these elementary students! They met the authors of one of their required readings. They battled with 18 other school districts around the region about the books they read. We didn't place in the top 3 but we came close. It was an experience they will never forget. We have amazing students at JHCISD!
