the Department of Public Works will be Flushing Hydrants.
** Temporary water pressure fluctuations or water discoloration (rusty/orange) may occur. Run cold water until clear.
City of Hartford will be closed on April 3, 2026 in observance of Good Friday.
Payments can be accepted online cityofhartfordmi.org/utilities or put in the City's drop box/mail slot located on the East Side of the building.
McDowell II Apartments located at 55921 County Road 687 Hartford has rental opportunity's available. The rent is based on income and the apartments may be occupied only by very low to moderate income households. The office hours are Wednesday 9am - 1pm. Barrier free units are available.
Bulk/Large Item Pickup is April 22, 2026 beginning at 6am
