Another Boo Bash is in the books 🎃🍂🍬 Thank you to all of the kind and considerate folks that came to see us last night.
And thank you SO much to all of our ✨️AMAZING✨️ volunteers. We couldn't do what we do without you! Thank you especially to:
🔸️Mayor Harvey and the City of Nortonville for helping with candy and allowing us use of the gym (and the mayor for handing out candy last night).
🔸️Paul McPeek and Bestway for donating most of the hotdogs and buns for the evening.🌭
🔸️Nortonville Fire Department for setting up a booth and handing out lots of treats and firemen hats on the Treat Trail! 🚒
🔸️Several local churches (including First Christian Church of Nortonville, Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church, and perhaps some representatives from Nortonville Baptist Church) that faithfully show up each year and are an integral part of the Treat Trail. And thank you for all the candy and treats that you purchased for the event. I'm amazed each year by the sheer volume 🍬🍭
🔸️Kristal Stanley and her students for taking care of refreshments, setting up beforehand, cleaning up after the event, and for just being, in general, good cheerleaders for Miss Amy as she sets up the decorations from August through October. (Ms. Kristal also climbed the gym bleachers a few times to save Miss Amy's knees so she's definitely one of our top MVPs this year!).
🔸️Lt. Col. Dan Ganoza and his amazing JROTC students (from HCCHS) who manned the game stations outside (in the chilly weather) and a booth in the gym... and also helped straighten things up afterwards. They're a wonderful help every year, and we're so blessed by them!
🔸️Members of the SHMS dance team that helped in the indoor gaming area. You guys were such a big help, and we're so thankful for you!
🔸️Shirley Nance, Jamie Bandy, Vicky Logsdon, and Sandy Crick for donating candy. Again, some of our most faithful donors and volunteers! It's gotten so expensive, and without the help of the City and these ladies (and Miss Amy's candy purchases) we wouldn't have had enough treats this year. Jamie also helped at the front entrance last night and kept things going smoothly.
🔸️Zack Stanley for the fantastic "Nortonville Boo Bash" sign that he created for us (we love it!!) ❤️
🔸️And all of our other individual volunteers who gave of their time to help make the Boo Bash a success (including Terry Bowman, Emily Bowman, Vicky & James Logsdon, Sarah Vincent (and her mom), Reed Tyson, Mackenzie Ferguson, & Sebastian Milan). I apologize if I missed anyone; please let me know in the comments below, and I will absolutely make it right and add you to the list.
✨️You're all AMAZING, and we appreciate you so much!✨️ Thank you for supporting the library and museum.
